Loreal Caresse Sheer Lipstick - Lovely Rose

I was drawn into the Loreal counter today whilst in Superdrug as they have quite a few new product launches! In particular, their Caresse Sheer Lipsticks. Unfortunately there were no testers out (don't you hate that? As if buying make-up isn't difficult as it is!!) but this particular shade caught my eye! The pictures are slightly dark because its getting dark here but I really wanted to take them with natural light!

My first thoughts are positive! The colour is a lovely rosy pink which gives a sheer, glossy colour. Remarkably these lipsticks are non-sticky like some others that I've tried. I can't comment on its lasting power as I've only just purchased it. I quickly snapped a picture of me wearing it. Please note that it's totally mis-matched to the other colours I have on because I couldn't wait to try it when I got in! Haha!

Also just noticed I have the hangy-up-ribbon-thingie showing, sorry bout that! :)

Have you tried these? I'm keen to try some other colours too!

Sleek Blush By 3 - Pumpkin

I am super excited by these little gems by Sleek! They've already blown me away with their amazing eye palettes and now they've released limited edition (boo!) cheek palettes. I was instantly drawn to Pumpkin, with it's vibrant warm colours!

Ain't she a beauty?! Sorry for the reflection of my TV in the background by the way! Left to right we have Lantern, Squash and P Pie.

Lantern is a warm coral with slight shimmer however it isn't overly frosty or glittery at all.

Squash is a medium pink which, in the pan, looks warm toned but when swatched is slightly cool. This seems to have a teensy bit of shimmer to it however it's barely detectible.

P Pie (is it meant to be Pumpkin Pie but they ran out of space?!) is a matte bright orange which is warm-toned.

Here are some swatches!

I just love this trio! I've used all three shades and although they may look scary in the pan, they blend out to leave a beautiful flush to the cheek. I'm already eyeing up the others in the collection!

I plan on using these in the next few FOTDs so keep your peepers peeled for those!

Available while stocks last in Superdug priced at £9.99 each!

No 7 Spring Make Up

While perusing my local boots the other week (much to Darren's annoyance..."how many times do you need to look round Boots/Superdrug?"...honestly..MEN!) I spotted the spring make up offerings from No7. Now, I'm not usually a fan of this brand, which I reckon is overpriced for the quality. However, I might just have been swayed by this trio of beauties!

I picked up 2 Vital Brights Cream Blushes and a Vital Enlightening Highlighter.

When I swatched the blushes instore I really liked the texture of them; smooth and not greasy at all, and they are unlike anything I have in my collection currently. The pigmentation on these is incredible, and for that reason I would tread lightly otherwise you'll apply far too much product!!

Here are some swatches!

Blossoming Pink and Blooming Pink

My favourite? I can't choose between them! They are both do so pretty!

I also picked up the Vital Enlightening Highlighter, which is a flattering beige colour which leans neither too warm or cool. It doesn't contain any obvious glitter and imparts a lovely healthy glow to the skin.

All in all I'm really impressed with these products. When I got these they were on 3 for 2 however I'm not sure if they are still running that promotion.

The Vital Brights Cream Blushes are £10.00 a pop and the Vital Enlightening Highlighter £13.00 and both are available from Boots.

Monday Manicure #2

Afternoon all!

I'm back with another Monday Manicure and more glitter! I can't get enough of the stuff at the moment! On my nails today is Facets of Fuschia by Revlon which is a black base with large an small Fuschia glitter particles. I seriously love how this applies and it looks amazing on the nails!

I do wonder why us poor Brits miss out on all the lovely glitter polishes Revlon release (namely Starry Pink and Whimsical). Surely the fact that Facets of Fuschia was selling out left, right and centre must tell them how much we love sparkly nails?! Sort it out Revlon!

Now, onto the pictures taken, as always, with the iPhone! :)
